wheels
So I finally bought myself a graduation present: new tires for my bike. They were much-needed, as the old ones were splitting apart and the inner tube was actually starting to poke out the sides of the front tire. Nice. I upgraded from my super-basic street tires to some fancier new hardcase tires. Woo!

And it’s a good thing, too, because right after getting the new tires put on my bike, I went to the dealership for an oil change and they told me I need $1500 of stuff done. On the bright side, it was “ladies day” which meant a free car wash and vacuum. (Except they didn’t vacuum my car, so maybe they determined I’m not a lady?) Anyway, between the stuff that needs to be fixed and the current cost of gas, I am now riding my bike for stuff I used to do by car — especially getting groceries. I must say that it cuts down on impulse buying . . . especially watermelon.
